SALTED CARAMEL PROTEIN MILKSHAKE
This is probably one of my favourite smoothies I've made so far. Its super delicious, 30g of protein and only 300 calories. If you fancy something sweet post-workout, this is your guy.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 50g protein powder (salted caramel whey)
+ YOUR LIQUID
- 300ml skimmed milk
- 1 cup ice
+ YOUR FLAVOUR
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 5g himmilayan rock salt
+ THE EDGE
- 15g manuka honey
- 5g crispy buckini cereals
- 2 circles of banana
WHAT YOU DO:
Simply blend together your protein, milk, ice, vanilla essence and rock salt. Once you're done, drip your honey around the edge of the tumbler with a spoon and sprinkle with buckinis and a dab of rock salt.
I use salted caramel whey protein for this but anything fairly plain will work too such a vanilla or white chocolate. Similarly, if you don't have manuka honey, just use normal honey and if you don't have Loving Earth's buckini cereal (which i presume you won't...!), just use anything crunchy such as nuts or broken up cornflakes!
AND if you don't have time to make it super pretty - throw your honey and banana into the mix when you blend it up.
