WHAT YOU NEED FROM TED'S LATEST ACTIVEWEAR DROP
If you're a regular on Instagram, you only have to be following a few #fitspo accounts before you're faced with a harem of women wearing and promoting the same brand.
The activewear world can feel pretty saturated by the same ambassadors, the same sports bras and the same booty-leggings. As a bit of an anti-blogger (I like to rebel against the standard wellness trends on occasion/most of the time), it was pretty bloody refreshing to see Ted Baker's latest Fit To A T collection (and of course, help them celebrate it's launch!)
So having lived in the stuff for the past two weeks (wish I was joking) I am here to navigate you through my favourite pieces. Let's go.
OUTFIT 1: THE V CHILL LOOK
The reason I can this the ‘v cool’ look is because I feel pretty cool in it.
The coat is probably the prettiest outdoor jacket I’ve ever laid my eyes on, and the fit of the vest top is slightly relaxed (tight gym tops definitely have their place but majority of the time I just wanna be able to move freely without anything digging in.)
As with all Ted stuff, there’s substance to the style. The jacket has thumb-hole inners and the vest top has a loop for you to hook your headphones into. They think of everything and it’s quite scary.
OUTFIT 2: THE V CUTE LOOK
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how cute this sports bra is? Normally with gorgeous sports bras like this, my boobs have 0.4% chance of staying in place. But thankfully this one is pretty AND offers all the support (hello adjustable straps.) I’m D cup and feel totally safe and avoidant of all gym-flashing related disasters.
The leggings are in the same Palace Garden print, and are the same sweat-wicking fabric which saves my life when I'm doing a big session. (There weren't many of those in December.)
OUTFIT 3: THE V COOL ONE
I think this look might be my favourite. The navy mixed in with the metallic shine is pretty much everything I could want in super cool activewear. The leggings actually fit my legs - and stay up thanks to the discreet drawstring tie at the waist.
And the shoes. THE SHOES. I’m so set in my ways when it comes to trainers - wearing the same old pair most days. But I have really broadened my horizons now lol. As a fashion brand, I am very impressed by the technical detailing on all of the kicks.
And that's a wrap gals. Wear-and-throw-away-after-a-few-times activewear is cool for Instagram selfies but I strongly recommend investing a few Ted pieces in your gym-drobe (if this a word pls?) which built to last.
And everything is totally squat proof. *The joy*
